Join us for our Prenatal Workshop!
Sunday, September 10th from 2-3:30pm
This workshop is for those currently practicing yoga wanting to learn how to make modifications in their practice during pregnancy so they can still attend their favorite yoga classes.
*Need not be pregnant to attend.
We will discuss:
– Benefits of yoga during pregnancy and how it helps our body recover postpartum
– Poses and movements to avoid
– Modification of Sun Salutations
– Modification of yoga poses & breathing techniques
– Yoga poses that can bring comfort to some common pregancy issues
Please bring a water bottle, yoga mat and pillow. A bolster, blanket, strap and blocks might also be useful. Snacks are ok in this class!
Length: 90 minutes / Cost: $30 / Experience: Minimal
